{"id":1563,"date":"2013-05-18T14:31:42","date_gmt":"2013-05-18T19:31:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1563"},"modified":"2013-05-18T16:45:31","modified_gmt":"2013-05-18T21:45:31","slug":"feed-me-seymour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1563","title":{"rendered":"Feed Me Seymour!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a07.50 very hot and muggy miles!<\/p>\n<p>It was hot today. \u00a0Hot and humid. \u00a0The temperature was 78 F. and the humidity was 86%. \u00a0Sweltering. \u00a0And we attempted to run in it. \u00a0The assigned route for the running group today was 12 miles and almost to a man, people turned back at the first water stop and only did 7.50 miles. \u00a0We were some of the people who turned back.<\/p>\n<p>It was so warm that you got dizzy and disoriented. \u00a0Bad business when you are trying to dodge traffic and watch for potholes and other runners. \u00a0But, we did manage to complete the 7 1\/2 miles and with a relatively acceptable mph time! \u00a0So, success!<\/p>\n<p>We passed the &#8220;Feed Me Seymour!&#8221; plant. \u00a0Twice. \u00a0I always expect this plant to reach out and grab me as I go by. \u00a0It is huge! \u00a0And it reminds me of that plant in &#8220;Little Shop of Horrors&#8221;. \u00a0I do not know if you have ever seen that or not. \u00a0That plant gets totally out of control! \u00a0 Here is the clip:<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"625\" height=\"469\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L7SkrYF8lCU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>So, every time we run past that particular house with that plant, we say, &#8220;Feed Me Seymour!!!&#8221;. \u00a0Cannot help it. \u00a0Must be said. \u00a0(I stood next to the plant. \u00a0I am almost 5&#8242; tall and it is bigger than me!)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?attachment_id=1565\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1565\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1565\" alt=\"IMG00827-20130518-0703\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG00827-20130518-0703.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG00827-20130518-0703.jpg 768w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/IMG00827-20130518-0703-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a07.50 very hot and muggy miles!
