{"id":1496,"date":"2013-04-30T16:05:43","date_gmt":"2013-04-30T21:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1496"},"modified":"2013-04-30T16:07:27","modified_gmt":"2013-04-30T21:07:27","slug":"vandalia-onions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1496","title":{"rendered":"Vandalia Onions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Cut the Grass<\/p>\n<p>This past Saturday my husband, nephew and I went to a steam engine show. \u00a0At this show I had the opportunity to purchase a 10# bag of just dug up, sweet Vandalia onions. \u00a0I love sweet onions and I love to make French Onion Soup from them. \u00a0Mmmm&#8230; \u00a0I determined, on the spot, to make the soup this week.<\/p>\n<p>The next thing I needed to make my soup was beef bones for the stock \u00a0(I insist on making my own stock). \u00a0I went to Kroger. \u00a0No bones. \u00a0Called Wal Mart. \u00a0No bones (no surprise).
