Church follows the river bottom of the TomBigBee River. \u00a0This is where people come to go alligator hunting~and they are successful! \u00a0This is also the place where you see snakes. \u00a0Ewww!<\/p>\n<p>Due to all the rain we have received this Spring, the swampy areas along the river bed are swampier than ever. \u00a0The mosquitoes are out enforce. \u00a0We really, most sincerely had our eyes open and alert this morning for the alligators and snakes. \u00a0I kid you not. \u00a0This is their territory, not ours.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?attachment_id=1461\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1461\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1461\" alt=\"IMG00810-20130424-0805\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00810-20130424-0805.jpg\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00810-20130424-0805.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00810-20130424-0805-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00810-20130424-0805-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is a lonely stretch of gravel road. \u00a0Not heavily traveled. \u00a0We passed Kudzu stretching over the road bed this morning, undisturbed. \u00a0It is solitary. \u00a0It is hidden, cloistered, remote. \u00a0It is perfect for an early morning run.<\/p>\n<p>St. Paul&#8217;s M.B. (Missionary Baptist) Church is the turnaround point of our run. \u00a0It is right at the edge of the maintained portion of the county road system. \u00a0We run on the Un-maintained portion of the road. \u00a0Gravel, bumpy, potholes&#8230;keeps you on your toes!<\/p>\n<p>But, it was a lovely morning for a run. \u00a0We arrived home in one piece. \u00a0No alligators. \u00a0No snakes. \u00a0Just tired and sweaty from a run successfully completed. \u00a0Well done.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a05.50 miles Call me paranoid. \u00a0Accuse me of having an overactive\u00a0imagination. \u00a0When we run the St. Paul M.B.Church route, I get the heebie jebbies!
