{"id":1448,"date":"2013-04-21T18:06:54","date_gmt":"2013-04-21T23:06:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1448"},"modified":"2013-04-21T18:06:54","modified_gmt":"2013-04-21T23:06:54","slug":"paxton-makes-a-new-friend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1448","title":{"rendered":"Paxton Makes a New Friend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day<\/p>\n<p>Paxton is Mr. Enthusiasm. \u00a0He has never met a man, woman, child or another animal that he has not liked. \u00a0He is just a friendly sort of guy, that Paxton.<\/p>\n<p>Every evening, we take Paxton for a walk. \u00a0Not only is he Mr.\u00a0Enthusiasm and needs the walk to work off a little excess energy, but he is also a very pudgy puppy (read: \u00a0119 pound Boxer). \u00a0This walk has a two-fold purpose then. \u00a01: \u00a0To work off energy so he sleeps through the night and 2: \u00a0To burn a few extra puppy calories. \u00a0I do not know if it is working but we do it anyway.<\/p>\n<p>We live out in the country and there is a field near us with nine horses. \u00a0We walk past the field with the horses every evening. \u00a0The horses look at Paxton and look bored and Paxton flips out every evening&#8230;&#8221;Wow~! \u00a0Horses!!!. \u00a0 Tonight, the horses went, &#8220;Hey look~it is that dog again&#8221; and Paxton went, &#8220;Wow~! \u00a0Horses!!!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The horses actually came up to the fencing and sniffed noses with Paxton this evening. \u00a0You would have thought he had died and gone to puppy heaven. \u00a0He was so excited!!! \u00a0He was wiggling all over and his stump of a tail was going back and forth as fast as it possibly could. \u00a0Could life get any better!?!<\/p>\n<p>So, now Paxton has new friends. \u00a0He truly is a lucky dog.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?attachment_id=1449\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1449\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1449\" alt=\"IMG00804-20130421-1731\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00804-20130421-1731.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00804-20130421-1731.jpg 768w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00804-20130421-1731-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day Paxton is Mr. Enthusiasm. \u00a0He has never met a man, woman, child or another animal that he has not liked. \u00a0He is just a friendly sort of guy, that Paxton.
