Today’s Run: \u00a055 min. lifting at the “Y”<\/p>\n

Air conditioning is a wonderful thing! \u00a0Living in Mississippi it is a necessity.<\/p>\n

We have lived in Mississippi for 2 1\/2 years and it has been a huge change from the climate we were accustomed to in Colorado. \u00a0Living in the mountains it was cool and dry in the Summer. \u00a0Now, it is 105 degrees for six week out of the year and very humid. \u00a0That does not mean it is bad~\u00a0it is just a change from what we were used to.<\/p>\n

Enter air conditioning. \u00a0This week our temps. are running in the high 80’s and low 90’s. \u00a0Not too bad for what we know will be coming in a month or so but still warm. \u00a0And our “air” bit the dust on Sunday evening. \u00a0Bummer. \u00a0Monday morning, my husband called the air conditioning guy and asked for a service call, only to be told it would be a week. \u00a0Oh no!<\/p>\n

So, we pulled out our two floor fans and turned up the ceiling fans and so far we are surviving. \u00a0Actually, we are doing just fine. \u00a0Both of us grew up in Iowa without any air conditioning, so we are used to a little discomfort. \u00a0The animals are laying low and Paxton has discovered the joy of laying in front of the floor fan to keep cool.<\/p>\n

When next week rolls around, we will roll out the red carpet to welcome the air conditioner repair person. \u00a0He will be our new best friend.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
