Stupid Bees!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day from being stung.<\/p>\n<p>Mowing around bee hives is a dangerous occupation. \u00a0Mowing around bee hives without protection is just plain stupid. \u00a0And that is what I did yesterday and today I am paying.<\/p>\n<p>We made splits in our Apiary a few weeks ago and the bees are still adjusting to their new homes. \u00a0Some of them are having separation anxiety from their old hives~at least that is my theory. \u00a0They are grouchy.<\/p>\n<p>Normally, when I mow, there is a certain distance I can go without getting the bees all riled up. \u00a0That has changed. \u00a0I obviously cannot do that anymore. \u00a0I must &#8220;suit up&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>I was mowing along, enjoying the warm Spring day when all off a sudden, Bzzz!!! \u00a0All around me were very angry bees. \u00a0I turned the mower around and made a break for it. \u00a0But not fast enough I am afraid. \u00a0I got stung three times by my right eye.<\/p>\n<p>I am a sight this morning! \u00a0My right eye is swollen shut, the right side of my face, the right side of my head and down my neck~all are swollen. \u00a0I am not going to win any beauty\u00a0pageants this week!<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, my husband is laughing with me not at me! \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?attachment_id=1426\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1426\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1426\" alt=\"bee sting 003\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/bee-sting-003.jpg\" width=\"1600\" height=\"1200\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/bee-sting-003.jpg 1600w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/bee-sting-003-300x225.jpg 300w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/bee-sting-003-1024x768.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/bee-sting-003-400x300.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1600px) 100vw, 1600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a0Rest Day from being stung.
