{"id":1406,"date":"2013-04-12T15:11:07","date_gmt":"2013-04-12T20:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1406"},"modified":"2013-04-13T13:30:38","modified_gmt":"2013-04-13T18:30:38","slug":"fifteen-miles-on-the-erie-canal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1406","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Fifteen Miles on the Erie Canal&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a04.22 miles<\/p>\n<p>When my husband and I were in High School together, our History teacher required our class to put on a program about the history of the United States. \u00a0It had to have speaking components and musical components. \u00a0One of the songs included in that particular program (one of many programs in which we were involved) was &#8220;The Erie Canal&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>That song, &#8220;The Erie Canal&#8221; has stuck with me over all these years. \u00a0No, it is not a chart topper by any means, and I really do not particularly like it&#8230;it just stuck with me.<\/p>\n<p>Which brings me to Saturday&#8217;s run. \u00a0The scheduled run with the running group is fifteen miles!
