{"id":1395,"date":"2013-04-10T13:06:27","date_gmt":"2013-04-10T18:06:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1395"},"modified":"2013-04-10T13:06:27","modified_gmt":"2013-04-10T18:06:27","slug":"bridge-over-troubled-waters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?p=1395","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Bridge Over Troubled Waters&#8230;&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Today&#8217;s Run: \u00a05.17 miles<\/p>\n<p>We did the Schaeffer&#8217;s Chapel route this morning. \u00a0This is my most favorite run because of the bridge.<\/p>\n<p>We cross over the Motley Slough on this awesome plank bridge. \u00a0The bridge dates from 1920. \u00a0My husband did a Wikipedia page about this and it is fascinating. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Register_of_Historic_Places_listings_in_Lowndes_County,_Mississippi\">http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/National_Register_of_Historic_Places_listings_in_Lowndes_County,_Mississippi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The bridge is rather rickity. \u00a0The planks, as you run over them, pop up. \u00a0It is like running on a see-saw. \u00a0Up and down. \u00a0Creak and Groan. \u00a0I love it!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/?attachment_id=1396\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1396\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1396\" alt=\"IMG00795-20130410-0828\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00795-20130410-0828.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00795-20130410-0828.jpg 768w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/TM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG00795-20130410-0828-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Schaeffer&#8217;s Chapel is a pretty little Chapel located close to our turn around point. \u00a0It is a lovely destination.
