Today’s Run: \u00a05.13 miles<\/p>\n
Today’s post is a\u00a0miscellaneous post. \u00a0It has been a strange but busy day~full of a wide variety of things…and it is not done yet.<\/p>\n
You all know that Paxton has not been feeling well. \u00a0Poor puppy. \u00a0We had everyone over yesterday and he tried his best to be in tip-top shape but was unable to pull the wool over our eyes. \u00a0To the vet today for Paxton.<\/p>\n
He did eat that bird and now he is paying. \u00a0He was due for shots at the same time. \u00a0Lucky Paxton. \u00a0So, he ended up with four shots, one blood exam, one fecal exam and one kennel cough immunization. \u00a0And he peed all over the floor…a lot…and more than once…they mopped twice and after that, they just put a very large towel on the floor. \u00a0Uncle.<\/p>\n
He is on medication for ten days and some fancy dog food until it is gone. \u00a0Hopefully, that will do the trick.<\/p>\n
Today’s run was amazing! \u00a0Part of it was against the wind. \u00a0That was not much fun BUT, on the way back I was able to enjoy it a bit more and notice that the side of the road was a blanket of Buttercups and that the Wisteria is beginning to bloom! \u00a0Beautiful. \u00a0I love Spring!<\/p>\n
The bees…We did not get to the bees today. \u00a0Rats. \u00a0But tomorrow, first thing on the docket is the bees. \u00a0We HAVE to get the Queen containers out of there! \u00a0You are only supposed to leave them in three days and then remove them. \u00a0Today was day three. \u00a0So, again, first thing tomorrow morning…<\/p>\n
Our niece spent the night. \u00a0She slept until 1:30 this afternoon. \u00a0I guess she was sleepy. \u00a0I think she was up late with her I-pod. \u00a0That is what I think. \u00a0Either way, she did miss collecting the eggs this morning. \u00a0She had expressed interest in doing that with me but the chickens were getting hungry. \u00a0So, “I’ll do it myself,” said the Little Red Hen. \u00a0And so I did.<\/p>\n
That was my day, along with the usual housework, etc. \u00a0Trust you all had a marvelous April Fools Day. \u00a0This day, the one I just reported was no April Fools, though. \u00a0“Just the facts”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
