Today’s Run: \u00a0Rest Day<\/p>\n
We watched a documentary this evening about this horse whisperer guy named Buck. \u00a0We watched it on the recommendation of my Brother-in-Law. \u00a0It was a great documentary! \u00a0If you have Netflix account, I highly recommend it.<\/p>\n
If you have been reading my husband’s blog, you know that we have had a Houdini horse in our yard a couple of days this past week. \u00a0I call him Houdini because he keeps on escaping from his pasture down the street from us. \u00a0He really is a sweet horse. \u00a0And also a very old horse. \u00a0He is thirty two? \u00a0thirty four? \u00a0Somewhere in the lowish thirty’s.<\/p>\n
This horse looks awful! \u00a0He is skin and bones. His hoofs look like someone who chews their nails. \u00a0I think he is a bit neglected, but he is sweet.<\/p>\n
The last time he was out, he let me walk right up to him, talk to him, pet him and lead him a little bit. \u00a0He rested his head on my chest for a while and kinda cuddled. \u00a0He really is a sweet horse. \u00a0I feel bad for him. \u00a0He just wanted to go home. \u00a0Poor horse.<\/p>\n
So, now we have the phone number of the guy who owns Houdini (my name for the horse, not his real name, mind you) and can call the owner the next time he (the horse) escapes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
