Today’s Run: \u00a01.08 miles and 45 min lifting at the “Y”<\/p>\n

All of the chickens look the same. \u00a0I may have to get leg bands for them so I can give them name tags. \u00a0Cannot very well pin a name tag on a chicken, so a leg band would be the way to go.<\/p>\n

There is one chicken that looks a little bit different from the others. \u00a0And it is not her smile or her eyes…she is a little darker red than the others. \u00a0So, I have decided that she is the one who is Ed. \u00a0Ed Strakrispie. \u00a0Great name for a hen, huh?<\/p>\n

She is a very friendly bird and does not mind being held and petted. \u00a0Silly chicken.<\/p>\n

All of the chicken are friendly. \u00a0When you walk up to the tractor, they come running to greet you and say “Hi!”. \u00a0(actually, I think they are hoping for some food) \u00a0When you open the tractor, they do not run away when you reach for them to hold them. \u00a0They are very personable birds.<\/p>\n

The dog, Paxton is impressed and afraid of the chickens at the same time. \u00a0paxton meeting the chickens 001<\/a>\u00a0 After holding a chicken, he does not know whether to snub you for petting a different animal or sniff you to death to smell the different animal. \u00a0The chickens do not seem to mind the smell of him or the cats. \u00a0They are indifferent.<\/p>\n

This is turning out to be a fun undertaking! \u00a0I hope you will indulge my talking about the chickens until I get it out of my system. \u00a0Tomorrow I will try to talk about something else. \u00a0Try.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
