Today’s Run: \u00a0Finished the Kitchen and walked the dog 1 mile<\/p>\n

The kitchen is officially done. \u00a0Bells and Whistles! \u00a0It only took about two and a half more hours to finish the painting and then the clean up. \u00a0Boy, did I make a mess!<\/p>\n

I had walked all over the counter tops to reach the wall above the cabinets. \u00a0I discovered that I can stand upright (I did not know I was THAT short) and not bump my head on the ceiling. \u00a0So, I was actually pretty comfortable up there. \u00a0There we a few corners that were a reach (my arms are short, too) but standing on tippy toe, they got painted. \u00a0All that to say, my counter tops were a disaster when it came time to clean.<\/p>\n

I really did not bloop paint all over the place like I thought. \u00a0There were a few spots that needed attention but all in all, there was not a lot of paint drips to be cleaned. \u00a0I had just dragged every bit of painting stuff we owned out of the garage and parked it firmly in the kitchen. \u00a0It was fun putting it away.<\/p>\n

So, after scrubbing the counter tops and mopping the floors, I put the paintings back up on the walls, socket covers, etc. and the room looks great! \u00a0It is a bright, sunny, happy room.<\/p>\n

Next project, (because I have leftover paint: \u00a0The solarium~)<\/p>\n
