Today’s Run: \u00a05.00 miles<\/p>\n
We ran early this morning. \u00a0It was 38 degrees F. and raining. \u00a0There was a breeze. \u00a0Not too terrible of a breeze but it was\u00a0noticeable.<\/p>\n
We almost decided to wait until later in the day to do our run. \u00a0It was our theory that it would warm up a bit and the rain would let up. \u00a0We checked the weather forecast and it said rain. \u00a0All day. \u00a0So, noticing a lull in the weather, we set off.<\/p>\n
We had run maybe half a mile when the rain started up again. \u00a0We got wet. \u00a0Thought about turning around but once you are wet~well, you are wet! \u00a0So we kept going.<\/p>\n
We ran on pavement and then we ran on gravel. \u00a0That was muddy, so we got a little muddy but not too bad. \u00a0We made it to our destination, Schaeffer’s Chapel, \u00a0turned around and retraced our steps.<\/p>\n
The rain let up for just a little bit and then it got pretty serious about coming down. \u00a0We were even more wet. \u00a0And cold. \u00a0And just a little bit muddy. \u00a0But finally we made it home.<\/p>\n
I am really glad that we decided to run this morning in the rain. \u00a0Why? \u00a0Because they just changed the weather forecast. \u00a0The rain is now 90% freezing rain! \u00a0Ick! \u00a0It would be tough to run in that! \u00a0So, yea to us for braving the elements and having a successful morning run.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
