Today’s Run: \u00a050 min lifting at the “Y”<\/p>\n
We do not own a television. \u00a0We used to have a television when we were first married but gave it away when the kids were born. \u00a0We really have not missed it. \u00a0I am sure that there were some very exciting shows of Wheel of Fortune or something that we could have spent time watching but on the whole, nope~do not miss it.<\/p>\n
Unless it is an evening like tonight. \u00a0We are tired and do not want to anything cerebral~like read. \u00a0So, we booted up our Netflix account.<\/p>\n
I realize that having a Netflix account is a cop out. \u00a0And I am not even going to try to rationalize our reasoning for it because there is not way to rationalize it. \u00a0We have an account because we want one. \u00a0Plain and simple. \u00a0And we want one for evenings like tonight when we want to stare vapidly at my laptop screen for an hour or so.<\/p>\n
We are fussy about what we watch and have found that the British dramas far surpass the American sitcoms and dramas. \u00a0So, we usually watch British shows.<\/p>\n
Which brings me to this evening. \u00a0We booted up our Netflix account and low and behold, our darling children had the same idea and were watching on our account already. \u00a0Netflix gave us the boot! \u00a0boo.<\/p>\n
So, we are spending our evening doing what we should have done from the very beginning. \u00a0Read.<\/p>\n
