Today’s Run: \u00a03.68 miles<\/p>\n

Today was a very interesting day, to put it mildly.<\/p>\n

My husband and I did our post race recovery run this morning. \u00a0We just hobbled \u00a0around Watson Road and back home again. \u00a0It was not an easy run. \u00a0We were sore from Saturday but it needed to be done to work out the kinks. \u00a0So, the morning started out successfully.<\/p>\n

My son came over this afternoon. \u00a0He planned to stay for dinner so he brought his German homework and we went to the laundry mat together to dry clothes (the dryer is supposed to be fixed on Wednesday!!! \u00a0Yea!!!). When that was done, we came back to the house. \u00a0We had just returned to the house and I had put dinner into the oven when his phone rang. \u00a0Uh-oh!<\/p>\n

It was school. \u00a0Mississippi State University. \u00a0Montgomery Hall. \u00a0Cafeteria.<\/p>\n

See, back in late August\/early September, Castro, my son’s cat went missing. \u00a0He has been missing all this time. \u00a0We assumed that he was two dimensional somewhere. \u00a0We were wrong. \u00a0He had been living wild on the MSU campus, in the Montgomery Hall Cafeteria. \u00a0He used to be skinny~he is not skinny anymore. \u00a0He has been eating quite well, thank you!<\/p>\n

So, Castro is now at our house. \u00a0He cannot stay with my son anymore because he is now the proud owner of a bunny! \u00a0(remember Loki!?!)\"Loki\"<\/a>\u00a0Castro and Loki would not work well together.<\/p>\n

Our household has grown this evening~by one kitty. \u00a0See, I told you it was an interesting day!\"Castro<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
