Easter Sunday

Today’s Run:  Rest Day

This morning we went to church as we do every Sunday morning.  It was a terrific service celebrating the resurrection of our Savior.  The choir began the Introit singing in Latin and then we all sang it in English.  That was an interesting way to begin our service.  Hoity-toity with the Latin stuff!  Speaking in tongues?

After church, my parents, sister and her husband and three children and our son all got together at our house for the Easter dinner.  We had ham (which everybody assured me was very tasty), garlic mashed potatoes, the inevitable green bean casserole (I like that BTW), peas with pearl onions in them, Watergate salad and two killer desserts!!!  I AM STUFFED!!!

Our niece is spending the night with us tonight which means taking her out for ice cream and dinner.  I do not think I can eat another bite.  I may watch the other people eat or else I may explode.

After everyone left and we put the house back in order, my husband and niece took the tandem bike out for a spin.  They seemed to have a good time.
