Today’s Run:  4.16 miles

How many of you remember the old Jack Webb television shows?  My favorite was Adam 12.  Good ol’ Malloy and Reed out there saving society from themselves.  I think Adam 12 was the first spin off show from Dragnet and in it’s first season it had a definite Dragnet flavor to it.

But, let’s not prolong the reason I am telling you about Adam 12.  We have a favorite line we repeat at our house that came from this show.  Actually, it is Log 71, Season 1, Episode 7 and it aired on November 2, 1968.  I would have been six years old (you can do the math if you want to know how old I am).  Malloy says this great line!  “The world is full of squirrels and some days, on this job, it seems like we get them all.”.  What a great line!  And so appropriate!  So, without further ado:  The world is full of squirrels…
