Much improved

[Yesterday: 6.5 miles]

This weekend completely made up for the GI difficulties I had last weekend.

Friday I had off for Veterans Day.  I got some errands done in town and did two short Uber trips.  I finished up the prerequisites for getting the electric run to the shed, which is supposed to be completed early in the coming week.  I also did some hedge trimming on the west side of the house, got the bushes all trimmed up and put some more pea-gravel in beds.

Friday evening was the annual men’s skeet shoot event for the church and I went to that (a bit late) and watched other people shoot.  It was fun.

I ran with the Starkville guys on Saturday morning.  The temp was in the low/mid 30s and the weather was beautiful.  I had a great run.

Then we had a nice day and I worked on my shed project, finishing the digging for the fiber optic network cable from the house to the shed.

In the evening we went back to Starkville and watched the MSU/Alabama football game from the 40 yard line.

Today I woke up and had a good breakfast, talked to my folks on the phone for awhile, then did some fooling around on the internet.  We went to church, heard some good preaching.  Then we went to lunch at McAllistars and I had a “New Yorker” sandwich.  At home in the afternoon I did a bit more work on the shed project then took a nap.  This evening we had our small group meeting at the Fleming’s house and ate shrimp-boil and cherry dessert.
