You may recall that sometime last year we bought a sailboat and then we had a bit of a minor tragedy while bringing it home which resulted in damage to the fiberglass hull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After sitting for a year, I finally decided to outsource the repair. And that has now been completed. The boat is on the trailer in our yard and it looks pretty good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The plan for this thing is to use it for rowing on the Tombigbee and similar bodies of water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is originally a sailboat. It has a removable keel and rudder. It has a mast and sail. But our plan is to just row. The beauty of it is that I can provide motive power with the oars while the boss can sit in the back and steer with the rudder. Or so we imagine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
