We used the newly acquired boat which I brought down from Iowa a few weeks ago.  The boat did great.  I have some work to do to get the motor running.  But we did use the trolling motor for a while and that worked well.  My deep-cycle battery was not fully charged, or possibly it is a bit addled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We did not catch any fish but it was nice being out on the water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have a small solar panel that is not being used.  And I have a solar charge controller.  I probably should set that up somewhere and keep the  battery topped off.
