I was watching videos on youtube recently when things started popping up about the eclipse in April.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So I talked to my wife about going for an extended weekend over into Arkansas to see the thing. I’m supposed to get the lodging and she will get someone to watch our house and animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve put in a request booking for a house in the country between Memphis and Little Rock on airbnb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We may end up staying at a very rural place for a couple of days and then see some mid-day darkness and then drive home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’ve run into the situation with hotels where there will be some kind of big event and they will ditch the early bookings to pick up someone else for more $$$ on the eve of the event. So I won’t call it a done deal, but we may be going.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It’s about a 5 hour drive from here to Little Rock, we could actually just drive over for the day and drive back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
