My rain gauge is broken so I don&#8217;t know exactly how much.   My father-in-law over in Starkville keeps good rain records which he let me peek at earlier this week.  He has us near 1\/2 of the the total we received last year. And we&#8217;ve only done less than a 1\/3 of the calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Some elected officials in the Tennessee statehouse decided to do a political action on the pattern of the streets with chanting and bullhorns and whatnot.  They claimed they were making the people&#8217;s voice be heard.  It somehow escaped their notice that the representatives in the statehouse are the elected voices of the people.
