[Today’s run: 3 miles with the pooch]<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I took the new dog out for a run this evening. I usually run on Monday morning, but I decided to give it a shot this evening for two reasons: 1) I had too many calories on the input side today; and 2) I wanted to get the dog introduced to running and also see if we could wear him out a bit. I was scheduled to take him for a walk, so we killed two birds with one stone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He did really well. We had to stop a few times and sniff stuff. And I had to plan ahead to avoid other runners, walkers, and people with dogs. But overall I’d say it was a success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think he will make a good running partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also today, I took the fancy string trimmer back to the home and farm store and they fixed it up for me with no charge. And the repair guy showed me a few things and spent some time with me. So that was really nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And we had a good church service this morning too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I had pizza for dinner. So I’d rate this day a 10.
