I had a great run this evening, and here I am posting on the same day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We tackled a bit of a project this past weekend. A while back we tore up all of the carpet in our living room and hallways. And that was when we discovered that the “built in” bookcase and fake fireplace were both built after the carpet had been laid. (!) So they were sitting on top of the carpet. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few weeks ago I disassembled the fake fireplace, took out the carpet beneath, painted the wall behind and reassembled it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Last Friday evening I took all of the books out of the bookcase and took it apart. I moved it away from the wall, removed the carpet. And that was when I also discovered that they left some holes in the drywall behind it(!), surprise surprise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Saturday I patched the drywall. On Sunday morning I painted. And Sunday evening we got everything reassembled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
