I almost bought a can of pumpkin pie filling today at the grocery store. I’ve been wanting a slice of pumpkin pie with a big scoop of cool whip on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think I bought a pie last year and ate about half before I threw the rest away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyway, the can of filling ended up on the reject rail at the checkout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My Grandma Howard could make the best pumpkin pie. I’ve made one or two myself, but not in that league. And the Walmart pies… they are OK but nothing special. Pumpkin is not popular in the south. Here it is either pecan or sweet potato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
