I boxed up the first part of my notification device and it is monitoring the temperature as we speak.<\/p>\n
Now I am working on phase 2:\u00a0 monitoring the signal for dead air.<\/p>\n
I was able to find some code on github to let me control the one-chip radio and after struggling with it for an embarrassingly long time, I was finally able to get it to play.\u00a0 Now I need to work on a strategy for determining dead air.\u00a0 I think maybe I can run the audio output into an analog pin (maybe with a limiting diode in the picture) and just test for audio signal going up and down.\u00a0 That’s my first idea anyway.<\/p>\n
