[Yesterday: 7.3 miles; today: 30 minutes of rowing]<\/p>\n

I’m back to working a little bit on a notification device for the radio station.\u00a0 I have another BeagleBone Black single board computer and I am ordering some sensor devices to attache to it.<\/p>\n

I would like to monitor things in the radio transmitter shed and send me emails if something is out of whack.<\/p>\n

  1. Internal ambient temperature<\/li>\n
  2. Temperature of air exhausting from the transmitter<\/li>\n
  3. Signal level (off the air)<\/li>\n
  4. Audio level (dead air)<\/li>\n
  5. Forward and reverse transmitter power<\/li>\n
  6. \u00a0others?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    I’ve worked on the email notification part and I have that configured.<\/p>\n

    I will need a serial port to get the forward and reverse power from the serial port of the transmitter.<\/p>\n

    I will need at least two temperature probes<\/p>\n

    I will need an FM radio chip device to get my signal level and signal audio level<\/p>\n
