[Today’s run: 7.5 miles]<\/p>\n
I had a good run on Wednesday morning and then the blood donation Wednesday evening.\u00a0 I didn’t run on Thursday or Friday.<\/p>\n
This morning I was still feeling the effect of the blood donation. I was able to make it to the turn-around in pretty good shape. Then it was run-walk-run-walk..\u00a0 I set the countdown timer on my cell phone for 2 minutes and alternated all the way back.<\/p>\n
This afternoon we drove down to Jackson where the other runner in the house ran a “beer mile”, a 4 lap race around a brewery with a solo-cup sized beer before each lap.\u00a0 I was the designated dog-sitter, picture taker and driver.\u00a0 She got to meet again with a lot of on-line and real life running friends.\u00a0 The dog didn’t want to get out of the car so I had the windows down and doors open for part of the time and then the car idling with A\/C running for about an hour during the events.<\/p>\n
