[Today’s run: 4.0 miles on the treadmill]<\/p>\n
My conference ended at noon today so I took an Uber back up the Strip to Gordan Ramsay Burger for lunch.\u00a0 Since I had run this morning on the treadmill, I figured I could do the burger thing again and still stay under my calorie limit for the day.<\/p>\n
Uber dropped me off and I walked in and sat in the same chair I had on Tuesday evening.\u00a0 I ordered the same burger and I went up-scale with the Truffle Parmesan Fries.\u00a0 Again it was delicious.\u00a0 Those two burger meals were the best eating I’ve done on the trip, by a lot.<\/p>\n
Then I moseyed back toward the hotel and on the way I bought an ice cream cone at a sidewalk stand, for dessert you know.<\/p>\n
About half way back to the hotel I bought a bottle of water from a street vendor for $1.\u00a0 He probably buys them at Wal-Mart for $5 a case and then sells for $1 a bottle.\u00a0 He had them on ice too.\u00a0 It was the best deal I’ve seen since I came to Vegas.\u00a0 A bottle of water in the hotel mini-bar is $6 I think.<\/p>\n
Shortly after that I found the northern terminus of a free mono-rail train that goes between three casinos, ending at the hotel where I’m staying.\u00a0 So I was happy to jump on that and finish the trip in cool comfort.<\/p>\n
