I had a nice run yesterday morning.\u00a0 The temperatures are still moderate and the days are getting longer.<\/p>\n
My head cold appears to be nearing the end.\u00a0 I’ve slept well the last few nights with the help of a tablespoon of Nyquil.\u00a0 And my sneezes and drips are pretty much over.<\/p>\n
I’ve been staying moderately busy at work.\u00a0 Some of our longer term projects are either getting tossed or waiting for funding decisions, so we are in a bit of a lull right now.\u00a0 And the proposals for the new\/replacement billing system are being evaluated by the city people..\u00a0 I’m not in the loop on that.\u00a0 By the end of May we may know more about the schedule for the next couple of years and The Great Winding Down.<\/p>\n
The “short truck” is sitting in the driveway sans engine and transmission.\u00a0 I have put an ad in Craigslist to see if I can find any other people interested in parts.\u00a0 Then I need to get it out of here.<\/p>\n
The radio station is humming along.\u00a0 I have a backlog of short pieces I need to\u00a0 work on to trim and set volume\/level so that they can be in the randomized rotation.\u00a0 And I have a few finishing steps yet to do on the transmitter shack.<\/p>\n
My autonomous weather station appears to be fatally sick.\u00a0 I think it is time to either rebuild it or call it quits.\u00a0 Stay tuned for news on that.<\/p>\n
