{"id":6310,"date":"2018-03-28T20:24:13","date_gmt":"2018-03-29T01:24:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=6310"},"modified":"2018-03-28T20:34:03","modified_gmt":"2018-03-29T01:34:03","slug":"uuuuber","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=6310","title":{"rendered":"Uuuuber"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 3.1 miles &#8211; hills]<\/p>\n<p>I woke up a bit early this morning so I turned on the Uber app on the chance that I might get an early call for an airport run.<\/p>\n<p>And it turned out that I did.\u00a0 About 6 AM I got a call into a hotel in Columbus.\u00a0 When I got there the gentleman told me he needed me to take his co-worker to the airport&#8230; in Meridian, about 90 miles south.\u00a0 And the co-worker didn&#8217;t speak much English, being from Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>So I did that.\u00a0 The rider was a nice man and we had a little bit of conversation.\u00a0 His English was much better than my Spanish.<\/p>\n<p>We stopped on the way past the house to pick up my laptop in case I needed to work from a Wifi hotspot in Meridian after dropping him off. We got to the airport around 8.\u00a0 But all was quiet on the work front and I came on home.
