My ebay purchase GPS antenna has arrived and I think I’m getting the gpsdo back on track.<\/p>\n
I had to download some old Windows-based software to check out the GPS itself and see
\nhow it was doing. And I also booted up an ancient laptop which I had previously used
\nto gather data from the gpsdo. It looks like I last used it in 2014.<\/p>\n
Everything seems to be working and the gps is seeing the antenna and the oscillator
\nis adjusting to peak performance.<\/p>\n
I’m not sure if the issue was antenna or not. So I may end up taking the lid off and
\nseeing if any of my power supplies or other integrated parts are having trouble.<\/p>\n
I did notice that the keyboard on the old IBM Thinkpad laptop is really nice. (I’m talking about the
\nold old Thinkpad, not the newer Thinkpad.) It’s a mechanical
\nkeyboard. It would be nice using that keyboard for my regular work if I could figure
\nout how to extract it from the laptop.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
