[Today’s run: 5.5 miles]<\/p>\n
We have plans to get up early tomorrow and hit the road to Greenville, MS and there to have Christmas Dinner with our son at his house.<\/p>\n
I went to the Christmas Eve service at church a bit earlier.\u00a0 It was very nice.\u00a0 They had trimmed it down to readings and carols with just a little commentary.\u00a0 I enjoy preaching, so don’t get me wrong.\u00a0 But it is nice to mix things up a bit sometimes and it was a very good service.<\/p>\n
And we had a good Sunday AM service today too.<\/p>\n
On Sunday mornings I usually call my parents on the phone around 7 AM and talk to them.\u00a0 I did that this morning after eating french toast for breakfast which my beautiful wife cooked up.\u00a0 After church we went to the local Logan’s steakhouse and I had a very nice Sunday dinner.\u00a0\u00a0 (I have been eating well, probably a bit better than I should.)<\/p>\n
This afternoon I worked on the radio station schedule for the week and we did the 5.5 mile run referenced above.<\/p>\n
I have already enjoyed some of my Christmas presents.\u00a0 I’ve worn a pair of my new jeans and my new compression\u00a0 running shorts.\u00a0 I have my new pocket knife in my pocket right now and I have a new flashlight and a lighted cap.\u00a0 I’m hoping that my wife will like what she is getting.\u00a0 I think she knows already what it is.\u00a0 We are taking the rest of our presents to Greenville tomorrow to open there.<\/p>\n
