Yesterday evening we went to Starkville for the Penenger Family gift opening.\u00a0 We ate pizza and opened presents and had a very nice time.<\/p>\n
This evening we went to a small-group church function and had a nice meal, some Christmas-y games and a white-elephant type gift exchange.<\/p>\n
Our next Christmas event is on Christmas day.<\/p>\n
On the transmitter shed update:\u00a0 We were able to pull the fiber optic cable and I messed it up.\u00a0 Not only did I mess up the cable itself, I think I ordered the wrong kind.\u00a0 I was talking to a local technician about fixing the broken cable and he said it would be cheaper to order another.\u00a0 I looked at the specification of what I ordered, and it was not what I thought it was.\u00a0 There are some subtle differences and I got the wrong one.<\/p>\n
So, I’m working on ordering another cable.\u00a0 With the holidays I think it may be delayed a bit. So this weekend we may run regular Cat-5 network cable in the conduit just to get something going. We will see.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
