[Today’s run: 3.5 miles]<\/p>\n
This time of year I do my runs at lunch time because it is too dark in the evening and I’m too lazy in the morning.<\/p>\n
Today the UPS man brought a box with a new pair of shoes for me.\u00a0 But I decided to run in the old pair once more, they don’t seem completely worn out yet.<\/p>\n
So I got my gear on and went for the usual 3.5 mile route.\u00a0 It was a good run.\u00a0 The shoes did seem a bit on the flat and hard end of the spectrum.\u00a0 But it didn’t really bother me so I just did my thing and had a good run.<\/p>\n
When I got home I discovered that I was wearing the old-old-old shoes I usually use for painting and other dirty chores.\u00a0 They must be at least 3 years old, maybe 5.\u00a0 So I still have my not-yet-retired pair and then the new pair in the box that I haven’t even looked at yet.\u00a0 And I have 2-3 pair of recently retired shoes from 2016 still hanging around.<\/p>\n
