{"id":60,"date":"2011-02-27T18:58:34","date_gmt":"2011-02-28T00:58:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=60"},"modified":"2011-02-27T19:08:43","modified_gmt":"2011-02-28T01:08:43","slug":"st-pauls-route","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=60","title":{"rendered":"St Pauls Route"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I went for a run late this afternoon, about 4 pm.\u00a0 I&#8217;m trying to ramp up my miles a little bit, going from regular distance of 3-4 up to 5-6.\u00a0 So today I went to the little St. Paul&#8217;s M.B. Church on Robinson road.\u00a0 That works out to be just over 5 miles round trip.\u00a0 Here is the map from Gmaps Pedometer (route <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gmap-pedometer.com\/?r=3760480\">3760480<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>One thing odd about this route is that it fools my sense of direction a bit.\u00a0 I know that a lot of it is northward, but I can&#8217;t get it in my mind correctly that the church is also east of home by a substantial distance.\u00a0 But my sense of direction has suffered many ignominies since my Boy Scout days.\u00a0 For instance, I lived 10 years in a house in Estes Park, CO that, to the end, felt like the house faced east.\u00a0 But it in fact faced almost due north.\u00a0 And I could process that mentally but never could make my inner compass accept the facts.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-61\" href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?attachment_id=61\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-61\" title=\"StPaulsRoutejpg\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/StPaulsRoutejpg-700x469.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"469\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/StPaulsRoutejpg-700x469.jpg 700w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/StPaulsRoutejpg.jpg 702w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I went for a run late this afternoon, about 4 pm.\u00a0 I&#8217;m trying to ramp up my miles a little bit, going from regular distance of 3-4 up to 5-6.\u00a0 So today I went to the little St. Paul&#8217;s M.B.
