We made some further progress on the shack over the weekend.\u00a0 We got all of the rafters and framing of the roof done and then I put on the roof sheathing.\u00a0 I still need to trim the perimeter, then we can put up the drip edge and shingles.<\/p>\n
I’m thinking now about my exterior sheathing.\u00a0 I think I should probably go two layers of material instead of one layer of “shed siding”.\u00a0 That will do a better job of keeping the weather out.\u00a0 But I haven’t completely decided yet.<\/p>\n
I also have a lot of work to do around the window and door openings.\u00a0 The window opening isn’t even roughed in, I just left it blank.<\/p>\n
