I put in a temporary repair coupling for a couple of days, then on the following Saturday I cut out about a foot of the pipe and installed a new chunk of 3/4″ PVC using two joint connectors. I got it all buried again and things look good now. It will take a few months for my dirt work to subside and the grass to grow over it again.

[Thursday: 3.5 miles, Saturday: 5.5 miles] A week ago last Saturday I worked on patching a leak in our water service line. This is the line which runs from the meter to the house. Our meter is out in the front yard near the street.
