{"id":5344,"date":"2016-04-14T20:53:51","date_gmt":"2016-04-15T01:53:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=5344"},"modified":"2016-04-14T20:54:35","modified_gmt":"2016-04-15T01:54:35","slug":"over-the-air-tv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=5344","title":{"rendered":"Over the air TV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 3.5 miles]<\/p>\n<p>We were just watching part of the old movie Dr. Strangelove on &#8220;ThisTV&#8221;, one of the digital signals we can get on over-the-air TV here.<\/p>\n<p>We have two stations we can get from inside our house.\u00a0 Each station has 3 digital channels, so we have 6 television channels.\u00a0 We don&#8217;t have cable or dish.<\/p>\n<p>We do have a netflix account.\u00a0 Most of our television watching is in the evening, we will site down and watch something on netflix.\u00a0 But sometimes I&#8217;ll watch some sports on one of the local stations, or some local programming.\u00a0 And we have &#8220;MyTV&#8221; (old reruns) and &#8220;ThisTV&#8221; old movies.<\/p>\n<p>The two stations that we pick up, one is here in Columbus and the other is over in West Point.\u00a0 There is a TV station in Tupelo, about an hour north of us.\u00a0 But I think we would need an external antenna to get that one.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: 3.5 miles] We were just watching part of the old movie Dr. Strangelove on &#8220;ThisTV&#8221;, one of the digital signals we can get on over-the-air TV here.
