One of the things I still have to figure out is how to remotely monitor and control this radio station.<\/p>\n
At a minimum I am required to be able to turn it off within three hours if anything goes wacko.\u00a0 I think I have an idea about that one.\u00a0 I can poke a hole in the internet firewall and get into the playback computer.\u00a0 I have a way to turn off the transmitter from there.<\/p>\n
The big-shot stations have equipment ($$$) to monitor their frequency, modulation and power output.\u00a0 That type of thing can be set up to trigger an email or even turn off the transmitter.<\/p>\n
I’m contemplating trying to use a beaglebone computer to do that.\u00a0 Beaglebone was what I used in the solar powered weather station project.\u00a0 I have to figure out how to measure the stuff I want to monitor.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
