{"id":5188,"date":"2016-01-02T21:16:30","date_gmt":"2016-01-03T03:16:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=5188"},"modified":"2016-01-02T21:20:51","modified_gmt":"2016-01-03T03:20:51","slug":"faa-pickup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=5188","title":{"rendered":"FAA pickup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Today&#8217;s run: ~4 miles]<\/p>\n<p>On our way out to Colorado for Christmas we stopped in Oklahoma City at the airport to pick up an auction item from the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mike_Monroney_Aeronautical_Center\">FAA facility near the Will Rogers Airport<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I had to go through a sign-in procedure at a small &#8220;visitor&#8217;s center&#8221; and then was directed in to the right warehouse to pick up my thing.\u00a0 It was a pleasant enough experience.<\/p>\n<p>The only other time I have had to do all of that was once when I went up to a NASA facility in Ohio to pick up a cesium frequency standard.\u00a0 I may have <a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=3218\">posted about that<\/a>, long ago.\u00a0 This time the item I picked up was an HP 8753C Network Analyzer with 85047A S-Parameter Test Set.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?attachment_id=5189\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5189\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-5189\" src=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Scan_Pic0097-700x504.jpg\" alt=\"Scan_Pic0097\" width=\"700\" height=\"504\" srcset=\"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Scan_Pic0097-700x504.jpg 700w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Scan_Pic0097-768x553.jpg 768w, http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/Scan_Pic0097-1024x737.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was only there for about 20 minutes.
