{"id":5098,"date":"2015-10-31T20:43:40","date_gmt":"2015-11-01T01:43:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=5098"},"modified":"2015-10-31T20:46:53","modified_gmt":"2015-11-01T01:46:53","slug":"10k-run","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=5098","title":{"rendered":"10k Race"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[today&#8217;s run: 10k]<\/p>\n<p>I was going to run with the running club today, and my wife was going to go watch our son run in a local 10k race.\u00a0 That sounded kind of dumb for me to go one way and her another, so I signed up for the 10k also.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t run in a real race since the Mt Desert Island Marathon two years ago.\u00a0 At least at today&#8217;s race I was able to keep running for the whole distance.\u00a0 I did finish, eventually.\u00a0 You&#8217;ll see by this picture of the results list that it was a small race, and I was in the caboose position.\u00a0 But it was on a college campus, so weighted toward the younger age groups&#8230;\u00a0 or something.
