I had a co-worker show me something really neat today.<\/p>\n

It is called the Snipping Tool.<\/p>\n

He’s been sending me these screenshot emails with an embedded picture of just a bit of the screen. And today he showed me how he does that.\u00a0 It seems to be a regular part of Windows 7, I don’t know if Windows XP had it.<\/p>\n

Go to the Start Button, then type ‘sn’ in the “search programs and files” box and the Snipping Tool will come up.<\/p>\n

Fire that guy up and you can snip any rectangle on your screen and put it in the clipboard.\u00a0 You can save it as a graphic or you can paste into an email or whatever.\u00a0 Cool stuff.\u00a0 You can also mark it up with a colored pen or a highlighter.<\/p>\n
