{"id":4905,"date":"2015-08-03T20:13:14","date_gmt":"2015-08-04T01:13:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=4905"},"modified":"2015-08-03T20:13:14","modified_gmt":"2015-08-04T01:13:14","slug":"finally-made-it","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=4905","title":{"rendered":"Finally made it"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[today: rest and travel day]<\/p>\n<p>This summer I have been on a series of week-long trips back to the HQ in Fort Collins to help get a new co-worker up to speed.<\/p>\n<p>I have had good luck with the travel schedule.\u00a0 My first trip was a bit of a mess because of a scheduling shuffle.\u00a0 But after that one things went as planned until yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday I was scheduled to fly out of GTR at 4 pm.\u00a0 But that flight was delayed multiple times and eventually cancelled.\u00a0 GTR only connects to Atlanta, no where else, and by small regional jet.\u00a0 I think there are 2-3 flights per day.\u00a0 They fly in from Atlanta and turn right around and go back.\u00a0 It was my impression that the plane for the mid-day run had some kind of issue because they eventually canceled it completely and moved everyone to the 6:40 am outbound flight.<\/p>\n<p>So I didn&#8217;t fly out yesterday but I did make it today.\u00a0 I got my connection to Denver OK, got the rental car about 11:30 AM and was at the office around 1:30 PM.
