I’ve been traveling a lot for work recently and there is more on the horizon.\u00a0 We hired a new man and it falls to me to try to get him up to speed.\u00a0 He is a sharp guy and learning a lot of our system.\u00a0 But they have me scheduled for a total of 6 weeks at the home office over the course of the summer.<\/p>\n
While that is going on, I also am trying to make some progress on the radio station project.\u00a0 This past weekend we procured a surplus antenna and I used my Memorial Day trying to figure out if this will work for our antenna needs or if I need to look elsewhere. I am not sure\u00a0 yet.\u00a0 And since the deadline is coming up in mid-July, I think I will need to work on an extension to our construction permit.\u00a0 That’s something I need to do here in the next week or two.<\/p>\n
I have not been running a lot, but still get out 2-4 times a week.<\/p>\n
I’ve been eating less and have lost 3 lbs in the past 3 weeks.<\/p>\n
We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary yesterday.\u00a0 Thirty years seems like a big number, but if you start young and keep at it, the days, months, years just tend to pile up.\u00a0 My wife is still the best thing that ever happened to me and we have been through a lot together.\u00a0 I hope we can do another 30.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
