It appears that I have made the switch from Brooks Addiction to Altra running shoes.\u00a0 (I don’t even know what kind of Altra I’ve got!)<\/p>\n
I’ve been buying the same Brooks shoes for at least 5 years now, so it is a bit of a shocker.\u00a0 My wife runs in Altras.\u00a0 I checked their website and they had a discontinued model for a reasonable price in my size.\u00a0 I ordered a pair.\u00a0 And here we are.<\/p>\n
They are lower in the heel and larger in the toe-box.\u00a0 The look kind of like colorful clogs.\u00a0 But they are comfortable to run in.\u00a0 I take shorter steps, particularly at the first when I’m getting warmed up.\u00a0 But after half a mile or so I get into it and stretch out a bit.<\/p>\n
