[Yesterday: 3.4 miles ;\u00a0 3+ miles on four previous days]<\/p>\n
More than a week has gone by since my last post here, closer to two weeks actually.<\/p>\n
Let’s see.\u00a0 I ran 3+ miles on Thursday the 22nd.\u00a0 We drove to Colorado on the 23rd and 24th and set ourselves up in the Super 8 in Windsor, CO in the smallest hotel room I’ve ever had.\u00a0 Sunday I had a day of fasting and prep for a colonoscopy on Monday the 26th.\u00a0 That went well.\u00a0 Then the rest of the week I was visiting with my work peeps during the day and enjoying the company of our daughter in the evenings.\u00a0 I ran twice on the treadmill at the Super 8 for 3.25 miles each time.\u00a0 On Saturday the 31st we started out for home, making it as far as Tulsa where I ran again for 3 miles on the treadmill at the Double Tree hotel\u00a0 (nice!).\u00a0 We arrived back home in the afternoon on Sunday, February 1st.<\/p>\n
Yesterday it was off to the animal hotel to fetch the pets back, then back on the keyboard for me.\u00a0 In the evening I ran on Watson Road.<\/p>\n
The new suitcase I received for Christmas from the Penengers worked great during our trip.\u00a0 The car ran well (we put more then 3000 miles on it).<\/p>\n
I wish I could have kept up with this blog during our trip.\u00a0 I am always torn between doing so and the dangers of advertising that our house is deserted.\u00a0 But it all worked out fine and we had a good trip.<\/p>\n
When we arrived home there was a stack of mail to go through.\u00a0 We got a handful of returns from the 500+ letters we sent out for the radio station project.\u00a0 All “return to sender”, no big fat checks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
