My wife asked me today what I want to accomplish in 2015.\u00a0 That is a hard question.<\/p>\n
It is easy to attempt to deflect a question like that.\u00a0 My first thought is about all the other people who should shape up and make my life better \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
As for things I can do.\u00a0 I need to get back into logging my food on myfitnesspal.com and try to drop some weight.\u00a0 I know that is a common resolution, and hard to fulfill.\u00a0 But it helped when I actually paid attention to what I was eating.<\/p>\n
I would like to continue with my ham radio projects. I feel like I made some good progress in November and early December, not so much recently.\u00a0 But I would like to continue that if I can.<\/p>\n
I would like to continue the WMFH-LP radio station project until I either get it on the air or we run out the time allotted in our construction permit.<\/p>\n
Part of my thinking behind the radio station project is to build a skill set that will let me possibly make a career transition, or maybe some consulting work for extra income.\u00a0 I don’t think my earning potential is going to change much in my present job and I always seem to need more than what is coming in.\u00a0 A year and half ago the plan was to try some truck driving.\u00a0 That went as far as it could.\u00a0 Maybe the broadcast engineering idea will play out similarly, who knows.\u00a0 So we go down that path for awhile and see what happens.<\/p>\n
I sometimes think I would like to get back into being more active at church.\u00a0 That didn’t work out so well in the past.\u00a0 I think my family was neglected, or felt that way.\u00a0 So I’m not sure what I’m going to do in that area.\u00a0 If HCJB was still operating, maybe there would be some opportunity for synergy between the church thing and the radio thing.\u00a0 But I don’t see that at the moment.\u00a0 Keeping my eyes open there.<\/p>\n
