{"id":4535,"date":"2014-10-02T21:46:18","date_gmt":"2014-10-03T02:46:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=4535"},"modified":"2014-10-02T21:46:18","modified_gmt":"2014-10-03T02:46:18","slug":"little-radio-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=4535","title":{"rendered":"Little radio project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[today&#8217;s run: 4 miles]<\/p>\n<p>A guy on a ham radio mailing list mentioned that he had made some circuit boards to use an Arduino Nano controller with a cheap ebay dds module to make a dds VFO.<\/p>\n<p>So, I bought the board, the Nano, the dds module and a few other parts and put the thing together.\u00a0 Today I received the final bit, a 16&#215;2 LCD display.\u00a0 And sure enough, it works.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second DDS frequency generator in my stack of stuff now.\u00a0 I&#8217;d like to put at least one of them to use in a receiver project.\u00a0 But it will take some head scratching to figure out how to make that work.<\/p>\n<p>I have some mixer devices.
