{"id":4530,"date":"2014-09-28T18:09:05","date_gmt":"2014-09-28T23:09:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=4530"},"modified":"2014-09-28T18:09:05","modified_gmt":"2014-09-28T23:09:05","slug":"motorcycle-dreams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/w0ep.us\/OM\/?p=4530","title":{"rendered":"Motorcycle dreams"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[Yesterday: 4.5 miles; today: rest day]<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been cruising Craigslist looking to see if there are any good motorcycles for sale.\u00a0 This has been going on for about a month.<\/p>\n<p>I have also been trying to do an internal accounting of why I&#8217;m looking at motorcycles.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t have the extra money for a motorcycle; I don&#8217;t commute or do any kind of regular travel which would be conducive to motorcycle riding; I don&#8217;t have a place to put one.<\/p>\n<p>I have come to the conclusion that I have no reason to own a motorcycle.\u00a0 And I&#8217;m not sure that I want to own one.\u00a0 But I would like to ride on one again someday.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s too bad they don&#8217;t have a &#8220;rent a motorcycle&#8221; like at the Dollar Rent A Car.\u00a0 For $50 I could have my day of being too cold and then too hot, having itches that I can&#8217;t scratch, not being able to see into the sun, and watching out for gravel and oil on the road and cars that want to kill me.\u00a0 Then I&#8217;d be good for another ten years or so.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[Yesterday: 4.5 miles; today: rest day] I&#8217;ve been cruising Craigslist looking to see if there are any good motorcycles for sale.\u00a0 This has been going on for about a month.
